Jaisey Bates writes, directs and performs with their multicultural theater company, The Peoplehood (the-peoplehood.com). A Princess Grace Award / O'Neill National Playwrights Conference / American Blues Theater Award finalist and Kilroys List honorable mention, Jaisey is a recipient of the Emerging American Playwright Prize from Marin Theatre Company and had a Featured Play for the Oklahoma City Theatre Company’s Native American Play Festival. Their education includes Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, the American University in Cairo and Loyola Marymount University.
